The Association for Quality in Construction in the Outaouais Region (AQCO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to defending and promoting consumer interests in residential construction and renovation in the Outaouais region.
Founded by committed citizens, AQCO arose from a simple but alarming observation: too often, consumers building or renovating their homes face quality issues alone, without clear recourse or support. Our organization was created to change that reality.
We act as a collective voice for owners and residents who have suffered harm due to construction defects, poor workmanship, or builders and developers failing to meet their legal obligations.
AQCO is committed to being a trusted partner for consumers in residential construction. We put our legal and technical expertise at the service of those who need it most.
Over the years, AQCO has undertaken significant legal initiatives, including class actions against developers who neglected their obligations and caused considerable damage to thousands of property owners in Gatineau and the Outaouais region.
